We know how stressful it can be to properly care for cars. That's why we founded BrightCar. We wanted to make it easier for people to manage the maintenance and care required for their cars. And we wanted to empower people with knowledge about what service is due, and when, so they can make better decisions about a mechanic's "suggested maintenance" at regular service visits.

After all, keeping our cars in top driving condition is vital, because our cars are probably one of the most expensive things most of us own. We've made significant investments in our cars. And it makes sense to treat our cars well to preserve them as best we can.

Meet BrightCar's Founders. Prior to launching BrightCar in 2006, Dave spent more than 14 years as a software developer, and Todd spent more than 10 years evaluating business strategies as a corporate finance consultant and equity researcher in the United States, Europe, and Asia.

In real life Dave drives a Honda Accord, but in his dreams he tools around in James Bond's Lotus Esprit submarine. Todd drives the family minivan, while waiting for his tester Tesla Roadster to arrive.
